The evening paperwork behind a Hampstead service business
Picture a two-truck HVAC company working the subdivisions on both sides of US-17. The owner spends the day on calls and the evening on everything else: estimates typed from notes on a phone, invoices built from memory, the same question about service-area boundaries answered by text five times a week. None of that is unusual, and none of it shows up on a schedule, which is why it never gets fixed. The first thing we do is make it visible. We write down each recurring task, how long it takes, and how often it repeats. Owners are usually surprised by two things on that list: how many hours it adds up to, and how few of those hours require their judgment at all.
