Four seconds at highway speed on US-17 through Maysville
A driver on US-17 gives your building exactly as long as it takes to pass it. At that speed most of what small businesses put on a sign is unreadable — a script logo, a phone number in thin type, four services listed in a row. What survives is one word for what you do, one word for who you are, and enough contrast to read against a pine background on an overcast day. So we design the roadside piece first and fit the rest of the identity to it, which is backwards from the usual order and correct for a town where the corridor is the customer. The same discipline applies to the sign at the end of your drive if you sit back off the highway. If a driver has to slow down to read it, it is already too late for them to turn in.
