How it works

Four steps. The last one is your call.

  1. Tell us about your business

About 10 minutes: who you serve, where, and how customers reach you today.

  2. Alex reviews it personally

Your public listings and site, what a customer sees when comparing you, and what happens when someone calls, texts, or fills out your form.

  3. You get a short, written Market Leak Check

Within one business day: the highest-priority leak, the evidence, and the fix.

  4. You decide what happens next

Fix it yourself with the instructions, or ask us to do it. Nothing to buy either way.

What you receive

A sample Market Leak Check

This is an illustrative sample for a made-up business, so you can see the format before you ask for one. A real check covers your business, with your own evidence.

Sample: a two-truck heating and air company in Craven County

What's already working
Your Google Business Profile has recent reviews that mention specific technicians, and your website lists the towns you actually serve. Customers who find you have good reasons to call.
The leak
After-hours calls go unanswered with no follow-up. A call placed at 6:40 p.m. on a weekday rang through to a voicemail box that was full. No text or callback came the next morning.
Evidence
  • Test call: weekday, 6:40 p.m., from a cell phone. Rang six times, then "mailbox full."
  • Contact form: submitted the same evening. Auto-reply received; no human reply by noon the next day.
  • Your listing shows "Open 24 hours" — so a customer expects someone to answer.

In a real check, this section includes screenshots and the exact times of each test.

Why it matters
A no-heat or no-cooling call is usually urgent. If nobody answers, the customer calls the next company on the list, and the reviews you've earned never get the chance to help.
What you can fix yourself this week
Clear the voicemail box and record a greeting that says when you'll call back. Change the Google hours to your real hours, or add an after-hours emergency number if you have one. Have the office check form submissions first thing each morning.
What we could set up, if you want help
A missed-call text-back that asks the caller what's wrong and where, flags "no heat" and "no cooling" replies as urgent to your phone, and lists routine requests for the morning. You approve the wording; you make every callback.
When automation isn't worth buying
If after-hours calls are rare for you, the free fixes above are enough. Paying for a system to handle a handful of calls a month doesn't make sense.
Next step
None required. Make the fixes and we're done — or reply if you want a written proposal for the text-back setup.
Before you send it

Common questions

What does it cost?
Nothing. The Market Leak Check is free, and nothing is required afterward — no purchase, no sales call.
Is this an automated report?
No. Tools help gather public information about your listings and site, but Alex reviews your business and writes the findings himself.
How long does it take?
About 10 minutes to fill out the request. You get the written check within one business day (Mon–Fri · 8a–6p ET).
Will it list everything that is wrong with my marketing?
No. It names the single most important leak, with the evidence and the fix. A long list of problems is easy to write and hard to act on.
Can I fix it myself?
Yes. The check is written so you or your staff can make the fix. If you would rather we handle it, we send a written proposal first — nothing starts without one.
What should I not send?
Passwords, customer lists, financial records, or anything confidential. We only need what a customer could see from the outside, plus how you handle inquiries.
Do you work outside those counties?
Our primary service area is Carteret, Craven, Onslow, Jones, Lenoir, New Hanover, Brunswick, Pender counties. If you are elsewhere in Eastern NC, send it anyway and we will tell you honestly whether we are a good fit.
