Video Ads & TV Commercial Production

Starting at $1,600 one-time

A :30 commercial built from footage of your actual business — your crew, your trucks, you — delivered to real broadcast and streaming spec. The on-site filming visit is included, because waiting on a client to send video is how video projects die.

Quick answers

Straight answers before you ask

Spectrum offered to make my commercial for free. Why would I pay you?

Sometimes you should take the free one, and we will tell you when. Spectrum Reach and most local stations produce a spot at no charge if you buy airtime, using AI tools that assemble stock footage around your logo. If a generic spot is genuinely all you need, that is the right financial decision. What those tools cannot do is show your actual crew, your actual trucks, and you — because nobody from the station is driving to your shop to film them. That is the whole difference, and it is the only honest reason to pay for this.

Do I have to send you video of my business?

No — and that is the point. We come to you. Every video engagement that depends on the owner supplying their own footage stalls, because filming is not your job. We spend about three hours on site with a camera, a microphone, and lighting, and we leave with everything needed. You film nothing.

What does a 60-second version cost?

The :30 price plus 15 to 25 percent. We will not charge you double for it. A :30 and a :60 cut from the same shoot cost nearly the same to produce — the cost is set by the filming and the edit, not by the runtime. Anyone quoting a :60 at twice a :30 is pricing the clock, not the work.

What's included

01

We come to you and film it

About three hours on site with camera, lavalier microphone, and lighting. You send us nothing and film nothing yourself.

02

Your business, not stock footage

Your owner, your crew, your equipment, your storefront. The one thing a free AI ad generator structurally cannot produce.

03

Broadcast-spec delivery

Mezzanine master, CALM Act loudness pass, and CEA-608 caption sidecar — the file a station will actually accept.

04

Broadcast-cleared music

Licensed for television, not a social-tier subscription that excludes broadcast and exposes you to a takedown.

05

Web and vertical cutdowns

Square and vertical versions cut from the same edit at no extra charge, so the spot works on Facebook and Instagram too.

06

You keep the raw footage

Delivered as an organized archive you own. Next season's spot can be cut from this visit without booking another one.

Our work

A tankless water heater explainer that customers actually finish watching

Produced for Clint Hood Plumbing & Drain Cleaning

Clint on camera at a real customer's unit, real b-roll of the actual flush, three built-for-him graphics explaining what scale buildup does and what a professional service includes — and an illustrated Clint closing it out. Filmed, built, and cut by us. No stock footage anywhere in it.

Add-on · explainer infographic segment Starting at $75 Teaches one thing on screen — what goes wrong, what it costs, what the real maintenance schedule is. Most videos work best with two or three.

Who this is for

Owner-operated businesses in Eastern NC that keep losing to a competitor whose video looks better — not because the competitor is better at the work, but because a customer deciding between two names has something to watch on one of them.

Especially right for trades, marine services, and contractors where trust is the whole sale. A stranger is deciding whether to let you into their home or onto their boat. Seeing and hearing you does something that a page of text cannot.

Also right for any business that has been told to "just send us some video" by a previous vendor and never did, because that is not a failure of intent — it is a failure of the arrangement. We removed that step.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to send you video of my business?

No — and that is the point. We come to you. Every video engagement that depends on the owner supplying their own footage stalls, because filming is not your job. We spend about three hours on site with a camera, a microphone, and lighting, and we leave with everything needed. You film nothing.

What does the on-site capture visit actually involve?

Roughly three hours while you work normally — real work films better than a staged shoot. We record a short interview with you, b-roll of your crew and equipment, and exteriors of your storefront and vehicles. Have the trucks washed and tell us anywhere we should not film. That is the whole ask.

How much video can you get out of one visit?

A year of it, in most cases. One capture visit supplies the footage for a commercial, a website brand video, and a run of short social spots. The captured footage is delivered to you as an organized archive you keep, so seasonal offers and recruiting posts can be cut from the same visit without booking another one. That is why the retainer only includes one visit per quarter.

What makes a broadcast commercial cost more than a social video?

Real delivery requirements, not markup. A broadcast spot needs a mezzanine master file, an audio pass conformed to CALM Act loudness rules, a CEA-608 caption sidecar, and music licensed for broadcast — the standard social music subscriptions specifically exclude television. Stations also charge per spot to accept and traffic the file. A social-grade export gets rejected.

Do you buy the TV airtime for me?

Not broadcast airtime. We place spots on connected TV — Hulu, Roku, and YouTube TV — where the minimums are a few hundred dollars instead of the five to ten thousand a month that broadcast typically requires, and where you can target a fifteen-mile radius instead of fifteen counties. Media spend is billed to you by the platform. We charge a flat management fee and do not mark up your ad spend.

What are the cartoon version and the graphics in your example video?

Two add-ons you can take or leave. The illustrated version of you is built once and then appears in every video, thumbnail, and printed piece afterward — it delivers the closing call to action so you never have to re-film a sign-off when an offer or a phone number changes. The explainer graphics teach one thing each, which is what keeps someone watching an ad to the end instead of scrolling past it. Priced separately so a client who just wants a straight commercial is not paying for a format they did not ask for.

I already have footage. Can you just edit it?

Yes — that is the lowest-cost way in, and often the right call. Send the original camera files, not clips re-downloaded from Facebook. If the footage genuinely cannot carry the result you want, we will tell you before starting and recommend a capture visit instead of quietly delivering something weak.
